August 2025 — first guests in Tartu and Tallinn
We opened in front of the main entrance of Lõunakeskus and a day later in Tallinn. TAILBITE’S® started in two cities right away.

From a love of shrimp at home to street food in two cities
From the very start our ambition was bigger than a single stand. We wanted to create a brand people come to for a good shrimp bite and want to come back to.
At the end of August 2025 we opened TAILBITE’S® for the first time in Tartu, in front of the main entrance of Lõunakeskus. The opening fell on the shopping centre’s birthday and plenty of shrimp lovers and curious visitors came along.
The very next day we started in Tallinn. So our journey began in two cities at once.
Shrimp can be an everyday food too
For us, seafood doesn’t have to be only a festive restaurant experience. It could be as easy a choice for lunch or dinner as pizza, sushi or a burger.
That’s why we serve shrimp in many ways: crispy breaded, grilled, in burgers and in tacos. Our Handmade Crispy shrimp are hand-breaded on site with our own seasoning salt and a carefully thought-out coating. Our own Bite Sauce goes perfectly on the side.
We want to bring joy both to those who have always loved shrimp and to those just discovering seafood flavours.
Growing together with our people
Customer feedback plays a big part in how TAILBITE’S® develops. We listen to what people love, try new ideas and improve the menu. That’s how Handmade Crispy arrived in spring 2026, and at the beginning of July the whole menu was renewed.
A Friends Club of almost 1,400 members has grown around us. We are also supported by our staff, partners, food content creators and friends. Everyone who has helped build the food trucks, launch the company, serve guests or spread the word has a place in the TAILBITE’S® story.
At the 2026 Investment Festival we fulfilled more than 400 orders over Friday evening and Saturday. The queues and encouraging feedback gave us plenty of energy to keep going.

TAILBITE’S® grew out of our home shrimp evenings. Now we share with you what we once tried out ourselves in the kitchen, and even more.
We care about what ends up in your bucket, and also about how you’re doing with us. We learn, experiment and build a mighty international franchise together.

November 2025 — trademark registered in the European Union
On 29 November TAILBITE’S® was registered as a European Union trademark. It was an important step towards our international ambition.

Spring 2026 — Handmade Crispy joins the menu
We added our hand-breaded shrimp, and the warm welcome encouraged us to keep developing new products.

July 2026 — new menu
At the beginning of July, before the Investment Festival, we launched a new menu. Since then, there has been a choice of several differently flavoured king prawns.

Today — almost 1,400 Friends Club members
Almost 1,400 people have joined the Friends Club. The growing community and guest feedback help us understand what people value and what we can do even better.
THE NEXT CHAPTER
Roots in Estonia. Eyes further ahead.
Right now we are focused on giving TAILBITE’S® strong roots in Estonia. We want to deliver consistent quality, reach more shrimp lovers and create a permanent indoor location.
Our longer-term goal is to open TAILBITE’S® outside Estonia too. International ambition has been with us from day one, but every next step starts right here: with good food and an experience that makes guests come back.
